700 App Store Review

We watch the app store reviews for Rodeo Results like hawks. This evening at 9:42 pm CST, we hit 700 app store reviews.

We want to address the FAQs we see in all the new reviews—there’s been quite an influx of them!

1). Can we sign up for exhibitions and stalls on the app?

No…not yet…..😉

2). What is the difference between your registry and others?

Many:

  • It’s 100% digital

  • It’s the first registry connected directly to a database and event software, allowing for real-time data.

  • It’s free to register a horse.

  • We track the career stats of the horse for life (also for free). Just participate with produces using Rodeo Results.

  • We allow grade horses to be registered. There is no such thing as grade horses on our platform.

  • Our model is based on inclusivity, not exclusivity.

  • The data is the most accurate because it’s linked to the raw event data. We’re not reliant on reports from producers. It’s all automatic.

There is no comparison to other registries because our model is so different. None of them are offering what we do for free.

3). Can riders enter races on the app?

Yes, as long as the producer chooses to and has the entry form enabled (turned on)

Check with your producers if they use the entry system on Rodeo Results

4). Can riders pay for their entries on the app?

Yes, as long as the producer has payment processing enabled. Producers choose whether they require payment to enter through the app. It’s optional.

Check with your producers if they have payment processing enabled (turned on)

5). Why does it say “name unavailable” when trying to register a horse into our registry

This means the horse is already registered in our registry. Your horse may already be registered, but it may not be assigned an owner. Contact us in this case.

6). How do I share a horse with multiple rider accounts so they can enter and race my horse?

In the app, go to:

Profile - Horse Roster - select the horse you want to share - rider access

Learn more about this here

7). Where can we post the event flyer?

Rodeo Results eliminates the need for flyers. When creating an event, there is an “info” field that you can copy and paste all event information.

The mobile app will have a white “view info” button that riders/spectators can tap to display the information. See below.

8). Do you have text notifications of draw numbers?

Rodeo Results sends native push notifications through the phone’s operating system. It’s not a text message, but a notification like Facebook, Instagram, snapchat, etc., that appears as a Rodeo Results notification.

We have Rodeo Reuslts notifications for when draws are posted, of your time/score, and when results are posted. They are automatic and require you to have an account and notifications enabled for the app in your phone’s settings.

Contact us if you have questions about this.

9). Do you have to have an account to use the app?

No. There is a spectate option at the bottom of the login screen to use the app as a spectator.

keep in mind you won’t get the perks that account get, like push notifications.

10). Can producers access the software from a phone or tablet?

Yes. As long as you have an internet connection, you can log in to the producer software from any device.

The mobile app will stay a dedicated experience for riders and spectators.

11). How good is support for producers?

All events have a dedicated rep that is scheduled to be available during your event. There will always be someone available to call/text/email

12). Can we access past results?

Yes. Go to:

profile - event history (must have an account)

13). Can we save our payment method?

Yes. This is done automatically upon submitting the first payment through the Rodeo Results app. You can update the method at checkout.

14). Can play days use Rodeo Results?

Yes
