We Have Better Data

Rodeo Results is an equine registry, stat database, and event software in one. Because we’ve combined these essential components on a single platform, we can track metrics that reveal the whole truth of horses and riders.

You can view this data for free on the Rodeo Results Mobile app. It’s available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. We can track many things, but below is an example of what we’re starting with and what you can currently view on the app.

Runs Made: The total number of physical runs made in competition over a career. (carryovers and rollovers are excluded – only physical runs are accounted for– this is like mileage on a car)

Runs Placed: The total number of physical runs made in competition that placed in the money. (carryovers and rollovers are excluded – only physical runs are accounted for – the higher this number, the better)

Made/Placed Ratio: The number of times one has to run before placing in the money. (the lower this number, the better– for example, Lizzie Jordan above has to run 2.17 times before she wins money– the lowest this number can be is 1)

LTE (lifetime earnings): The total amount of money won over a career. (money won from carryovers and rollovers is included. Money is money, baby!)

Average Check: The average amount of money won per run that placed in the money. (the average amount one wins when they place – For example, Lizzie Jordan wins $95.93 on average when she places in the money – the higher this number, the better)

These metrics are being tracked for both horses and riders.

Again, Rodeo Results can track many things, but this is what we are starting with. More metrics will be released in the future.

With that said, what metrics do you want to see or think should be tracked? Shoot us a message on what you think!

Cheers,
The Rodeo Results Team
